Bogdan Pain Management has been utilizing PRP (platelet rich plasma) and PPP (platelet poor plasma) therapy for years as a natural, non-invasive technique to rebuild and rejuvenate joints for patients suffering from arthritis, back and neck pain, joint injuries, and more. We are proud to now offer cosmetic PRP and PPP therapy through Regenerative Aesthetics.

We begin the treatment by drawing your own blood, then processing it to separate the necessary components. PRP and PPP are both components of your own blood. Plasma is the liquid portion of whole blood that is separated from platelets, red blood cells, and white blood cells. Platelets amplify natural growth factors, which play a key role in the body’s natural healing process. PRP injections use a concentration of a patient’s own platelets to accelerate the healing of a specified area. PPP injections have a lower concentration of platelets and growth cells, and are used when a less robust response is necessary to healing.

PRP and PPP injections are unique in that they can be used to heal injured tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints, as well as for cosmetic procedures. It can be used topically or injected subcutaneously to restore volume by stimulating new collagen production. These injections can also be used for hair restoration and improvement of physiological dysfunction to enhance libido with the P-Shot and O-Shot. All PRP and PPP treatments are minimally-invasive, involving only small injections and no scarring. Each procedure takes less than an hour in our office, with little to no downtime. Because PRP and PPP is your own blood, the treatment is all natural, safe, and there is almost no risk of an allergic reaction. At Regenerative Aesthetics, we are medically trained to offer treatment for musculoskeletal injuries as well as cosmetic procedures. Discounted prices are offered to combination therapies.

Face & Neck Rejuvenation

Collagen and elastin are key to healthy, young-looking skin. While your body produces these naturally, this production starts to decrease in your 20s and will continue to decrease as you age. Without enough of these substances, your skin may sag, wrinkles may form, among other skin aging issues.

By injecting PRP into the neck and face, areas where we most commonly see lost volume, wrinkles, and creases, your body will produce new cells and collagen production, adding volume and erasing wrinkles and folds. The skin has a more youthful complexion due to new blood vessels, new collagen formations in the dermis can lift the face to a more youthful position, and the epidermis, which is the outermost layer, will appear distinctly smoother. This collagen boost will continue to develop for months following treatment, improving results over time. While results are not permanent, its effects can last up to 2 years. PRP injections can be used in the delicate areas around the mouth and eyes, where dermal fillers, Botox, and other facial treatments are often not as effective. PRP therapy is ideal for older patients that may have difficulty healing from surgical treatments for face and neck rejuvenation.

PPP injections can be used for immediate cosmetic results as a dermal filler. PPP is injected under the skin to smooth out wrinkles and/or contour facial features that have lost their volume. This results in natural-looking fullness, and is thought to last approximately two months.

PRP and/or PPP therapy can help with:
• Fine lines and wrinkles
• Uneven skin tone
• Acne scars
• Sagging skin

Hair restoration

Until recently, there were very few non-surgical treatments for hair restoration available, and even topical treatments or oral medications can produce unpleasant side effects and inconsistent results. PRP therapy for hair restoration has become an innovative treatment for men with male-pattern hair loss, as well as women with female-pattern hair loss and thinning hair. Growth factors in plasma-rich platelets (PRP) stimulate hair follicles to promote new hair growth, as well as thicken the hair shaft for thicker, denser hair. Treatments take less than an hour. A series of 4 treatments is recommended initially every 4 weeks, with maintenance therapy every 9-12 months.

The P-Shot & O-Shot

The P-Shot & O-Shot is a promising treatment option for men and women struggling with sexual dysfunction and/or lack of libido. PRP is injected into the genital area to promote growth of new cells and increased blood flow to the area. Numbing medication is used to ensure a painless experience.

The P-Shot, or Priapus Shot, is a PRP injection that can help achieve a firmer, stronger, and larger erection. For patients with erectile dysfunction, weak erection, lack of sensitivity during intercourse, lack in length or girth, failed ED medications, or Peyronie’s disease, the P-Shot may be the solution. Some men may see results immediately, but maximum benefit is reached after a few months.

The O-Shot, or the Orgasm Shot, offers women a revolutionary treatment for sexual enhancement. For patients with low libido, lack of sensitivity or stimulation, inability to reach climax, painful intercourse, vaginal dryness, or urinary incontinence, the O-Shot may be the solution. Regeneration of cells starts a few weeks after injection and results can last up to a year.
